"Thermoplush-seat cushion heating" for the basilica in Ottobeuren

The treasure of Bavaria the basilica Saint Alexander and Theodor in Ottobeuren is being equipped with heated seat cushions made by our company P.R. Havener Ltd. The seat cushion heating offers an enormous reduction of costs since the heating energy can be reduced from 104 KW to 6 KW per service. This gentle method of heating causes no problems in conserving the valuable ceiling frescos and the Engelskuppel* of this great baroque monument.

On 15th February the first heated seat cushions have been delivered to the sanctuary (Eldernaltar). The nave will also be equipped with our successful "Thermoplush-seat cushion heating" in the middle of the year.

Successful Cooperation with CMN

(Centre des Monuments Nationaux)

CMN is responsible for historical buildings all over France. It is a great pleasure for us to cooperate with such a well-organized institute like CMN. Since all buildings are protected by monument conservation, the infrared-heating-systems of Havener are suitable to create a cosy heat for the staff. In 2012 "Notre Dame", "Basilique Saint Denis" and "Sainte Chapelle Paris" were furnished with our new infrared thermal wall TW 20.12 and some heated carpets. Further projects are going to be realized.
